At Cornerstone College, we know that students who feel safe, valued and connected are more likely to succeed in their learning.

We also know that the choice of school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make as a parent. We want to assist you in any way we can.

Our team are here to talk to you about your child, as well as any special needs they might have as they transition from primary school to middle school.

Of course, your child will want to be part of this process too.

We encourage all students to spend a day at Cornerstone, to meet new friends and to experience how an education at Cornerstone will assist them to love, learn and grow.

Our main intake years are Year 7 and Year 10, however, we welcome enrolment enquiries at all year levels.

We are passionate about offering the very best education in the Adelaide Hills.

Enrolment Process

We encourage families wishing to enrol at Cornerstone to contact Rochelle Rogers, Principal’s Assistant/ Registrar on 8398 6000. 

To commence the application process, please complete and submit an Application Form and return it to Cornerstone College, complete with your non-refundable fee of $50 per child ($100 per family).

Schools that form part of the Association of Independent Schools South Australia (AISSA) undertake to make offers of place for students a maximum of two years in advance. Cornerstone College is a member of AISSA and abides by this policy.

On receipt of an Application Form and deposit, your child will be placed on our waiting list.

Within two years of commencement at the College, we will invite you and your child(ren) to attend an interview with the Principal, Mr Craig Fielke.

Please attend this interview with the enrolling child, and their most recent school reports together with their most recent NAPLAN results.

If your son or daughter requires learning support from our Adaptive Education team, please also bring any recent educational psychologists’ reports and any other relevant information that will assist us to plan for the education of your child.

Parents and caregivers should confirm their child’s offer of place in writing together with a $400 deposit. Deposits are held until the student completes Year 12.

As per our Enrolment Policy, priority of place is given to:

  1. Siblings of current students
  2. Students currently enrolled at Lobethal Lutheran, St Mark’s, Mt Barker and St Michael’s, Hahndorf
  3. Date of application.
