South Australian Education Department Changes
Do you have a son or daughter who is not yet enrolled at Cornerstone, but you’d like to commence in 2021 or 2022?
Parents who have primary students currently in Years 3 and 4 need to be aware that from January 1, 2022 all South Australian Year 7 students will be taught in high school. This means that primary schools will no longer offer Year 7 unless they offer seamless education from Foundation – Year 12.
This transition aligns all South Australian schools with the national curriculum taught in high schools.
Our dedicated Middle School program expanded to include Year 7 students in the purpose built Paideia Building in 2014, and our reputation for academic excellence and pastoral care of students in Years 7-9 is considered industry best by academics globally.
To ensure that your child is prioritised for enrolment in Year 7, 2021/ 2022 or Year 8, 2022, please click here to register for a Principal’s Tour, or contact Rochelle Rogers Principal’s Assistant/Registrar on 8398 6009 to arrange a personal tour of the College at a time that suits you.
