The College has a Careers team that is dedicated to supporting students to make informed decisions towards their life beyond Cornerstone. Students have access to a wide range of career resources, including formal sessions to explain University and TAFE admission processes.
Parents play a key role is helping their child to make career choices, so we are here to support parents too. We run regular free Careers Workshops for parents. This program is specifically designed to help parents support their children with career decisions because only 20% of parents feel they have sufficient knowledge to do this.
An annual Careers Expo is also held at the College where many field experts are in attendance to answer all your career and tertiary education questions. There are representatives from Universities, TAFE, SAPOL, SA Ambulance, Construction, Hair and Beauty, Engineering/Mining/Surveying, Defence Force, Fitness and many more.
Students and parents can access the Student Pathways Coordinator and the Careers Advisors through appointments made at Senior School Student Reception. We welcome and encourage use of these quality career advice services.
