Cornerstone College is seeking a passionate and experienced educator to join our Middle Leadership team as a Learning Leader, Mathematics. This is a strategic and operational leadership role focused on enhancing teacher effectiveness and student learning outcomes within Mathematics. We are seeking an innovative leader to assist in a strategic transition to a new mode of curriculum delivery.
About the Role
As a Learning Leader, you will:
*Lead curriculum planning, delivery, assessment, and reporting aligned with SACE and the Australian Curriculum
*Foster a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented learning environment
*Mentor and support staff through coaching, performance reviews, and professional development
*Use data to inform teaching practices and drive continuous improvement
*Promote innovative and differentiated teaching strategies
*Build strong relationships with students, families, and the wider College community
*Contribute to the spiritual life of the College through devotions and chapel leadership

What We’re Looking For
The successful candidate will hold current South Australian Teacher’s Registration and ideally possess HAT or Lead accreditation. They will demonstrate strong leadership in curriculum development, pedagogy, and staff support, with a deep understanding of Lutheran education and the Christian ethos. Proven experience in driving innovation and fostering community engagement is essential, along with a solid working knowledge of SACE and the Australian Curriculum. The ability to teach senior mathematics subjects, including Specialist Mathematics and Mathematical Methods, is highly desirable.
