The Business Manager will outwork their responsibilities in a manner that supports the Mission Statement of the College, aligns with, and promotes these values, within all aspects of the role.

The Business Manager is the Senior Leadership Team member responsible for the infrastructure and operational function of the College including financial control, communications, risk and compliance, ICT, food and property services. This role represents the operational and business function of the College, and other Lutheran Education Adelaide Hills (LEAH) schools when required.

The Business Manager is responsible for leading and managing the accounting function for Cornerstone College to ensure its sustainability and capacity to continue to invest in programs and facilities that support student outcomes. Candidates must demonstrate several years of successful experience in the financial management of commercial business, to be considered.

  • 1 day per week (7 hours) and 40 weeks per year
  • 3 – 4 extra days per year at casual rates to set up Home Economics prior to student commencement in January
  • Hours of work – 8:30am to 4:00pm
  • Lutheran School Officer Grade 3

The Home Economics Support role is designed to assist the day to day function of the Home Economics facility and assist the teachers of this department in all areas of preparing the classrooms and kitchens for teaching. The role is to provide support which allows the teachers to maximise their instruction time with the students, provide a safe and clean environment and a well organised kitchen, classroom and storage facilities.

The Home Economics Support Officer will maintain effective and ongoing communication with their job share partner and all relevant staff, to ensure a superior student experience in Home Economics.
